Казалось бы, этот стиль никуда не уходил, невозможно вспомнить ни одного сезона без элементов готики или гранжа... Но сейчас это не просто еще один мимолетный тренд очередного сезона. История делает новый виток - мода на субкультуры возвращается, но уже в новом обличии, переосмысленная и дополненная. 

Not surprising at all, that after the Y2K aesthetics obsession, gothic style is the new black. Given a new meaning, a more glamorous one. It's also called neo-gothic style, gothic glamor. Well, of course, this kind of aesthetic could never be called outdated, I can't remember a single fashion season without grunge or gothic elements... But now it's not just one more micro trend of one more season. History repeats itself and the subculture fashion is back again, but with its new meaning, reimagined, redefined.

Интересоваться это одно, а носить кутюрные вещи это совсем другое. Next level, так сказать. Единственный раз в жизни я надевала вещи haute couture для съемки в студии одного из Домов в Париже. Это было непередаваемо, в прямом смысле слова! Платья были такими тяжелыми, что казалось, что я вот-вот упаду... Мечтаю ли я о том, чтобы у меня были мои личные вещи haute couture? Я совру, если скажу, что нет!

Что делать, если вы не относитесь к очень-очень небольшому числу людей, которые могут позволить себе обладать вещами haute couture? Вспомнить о винтажном и архивном кутюре. Вот именно эта тема для меня сейчас особенно интересна!

After the Haute couture Fashion week, all the viral runway looks and celebrity guests' outfits looks like everyone is very excited about haute couture in general. Being interested is one thing, while trying or wearing an haute couture piece is the so-called next level. The only time I put on some haute couture pieces was in Paris, a few years ago, it was a shooting at one Maison's studio. It was literally unforgettable - the dresses were so heavy, I thought I was going to fall... Am I dreaming of possessing my own haute couture pieces? Well, if I say no, it would be a very bad lie!

What can you do if you're not one of those super few people who are lucky to be able to have haute couture made for them personally? To think of vintage and archival haute couture. That's the theme that I'm very excited about now!

Неделя до дня рождения всегда безумно волнительная, немного тревожная... Сколько себя помню, в моей жизни в это время всегда происходил (и происходит, увы, да...!) настоящий ураган. Сумасшедшее состояние какое-то, стараюсь отвлекаться на полезные и приятные дела, больше времени проводить с теми, кого люблю, кто меня вдохновляет. Стараюсь меньше думать, как бы это сложно ни было. Очень хочу переключиться на любимую мою зиму, наслаждаться по максимуму каждым днем, особенно, предновогодним периодом, который, как настоящий романтик в душе, я очень люблю и всегда очень жду. Такой вот ноябрь!

The week before my birthday is always very stressful, full of anxiety... As long as I remember myself, this period has always been (and still is, alas...!) like a true mess inside me. Feeling so crazy and still trying to get distracted by the pleasant and beloved things in my life, to spend more time with those whom I love and who inspire me. Trying to reflect less even if it's really difficult for me. I really want to switch my mood to winter which I love so much, to enjoy every single day, especially in this period before Christmas and New year. I'm a very romantic person and I love this season and I always wait for it. So, that's what my November is all about!

October is already about to be over, can’t believe it! For me it’s always the time to work on myself, to reinvent myself, to revalue some things. I need some order in my creative chaos. A couple of days ago I was cleaning out my closet, sorting out some things, and getting rid of some of them forever. I must admit this is a good way to be by yourself, to delve in your thoughts.

Январь обычно самый "ленивый" и расслабленный месяц... Кажется, нужно собраться в начале нового года (и вспомнить, что мы наобещали себе 31 декабря...), но нет. Не знаю, как в вашем городе, в Москве январь это время, когда на дорогах нет пробок, в ресторанах совсем не людно. Томное послеобеденное солнце лениво утопает в стеклах окон, и на долю секунды кажется, что в этот раз точно все будет хорошо. January is usually the laziest and the most relaxed month... We suppose we need to gather our thoughts at the beginning of the new year (and remember what we promised to ourselves on 31 December...), but naaaay. I don't know what it is like in your hometown, but in Moscow January is the time of free roads, half-empty restaurants. Languid afternoon sun drowns lazily in the windows' glass and for an instant you think that this time everything will be fine. The weather in Moscow is literally perfect, just good for long walks, beautiful evenings and heartwarming talks... but in a couple of days I'll be back to the sun and sea. And even though I've got vacay mood on my mind already, autumn will be autumn.

За этот год я много чему научилась, многое для себя открыла. В плане моды и стиля этот год для меня был просто космически крутым, каким-то революционным, хоть я и не надевала какие-то "дикие" вещи. Я стала лучше понимать себя... Итак, все мои модные "откровения" за 2022 год в этом посте! 

Life is amazing, whatever happens, when you can say to yourself: today is better than yesterday and tomorrow will be better than today. And yes, I must admit, that's what my life is all about. To make it better and better, we have to work on its all aspects. Also on our style. Perfecting it and making pure, adding something new all the time. There’s so much sterile minimalism which has no ideas at all around. And there’s so little true fashion! And I really need some drama in the bestest way!
