A bit more about Japan... The town of Himeji and its gorgeous White Heron Castle, Hiroshima and Miyajima island (I call it a magic island now). That's the Japan that few tourists visit. So, if someone is planning to visit Japan, then I highly recommend you to add these places to your route!

Keeping on posting more about our trip to Japan. We have surely been to the famous deer park in the town of Nara, to the night streets of the third biggest city Osaka. It was impossible not to fall in love with Japan!

Hakone impressed me with its magic landscapes and Kioto with its cinematographic ambience. Each corner here is like a movie scene. Well, why "like"? As a true Tom Ford girl I'm totally obsessed not just with everything Tom Ford did for Gucci and for his eponymous brand, but also with his collections for Yves Saint Laurent from 1999 to 2004. Минутка ностальгии. Сегодня я заезжала в ГУМ, в бутик одного из своих любимых брендов, нужно было кое-что забрать у моего продавца… С завтрашнего дня этот бутик уже переезжает в новую локацию. Стало немного грустно, минус еще один классный магазин в самом праздничном и красивом универмаге. A moment of nostalgia. Today I visited GUM for a few minutes, to one of my favorite brands to take something from my SA… Tomorrow their store is moving to a new location. I felt a bit sad,  minus one more nice store in the fanciest and dressiest department store ever. I remember it since my childhood when all the boutiques there used to be absolutely amazing. Can hardly even tell you which one was the fanciest. Women used to dress up… Some other brands used to be at the cutting edge. And I realized how much I missed all this fanciness, dressiness, unconditional beauty, dresses and high heels for every day. Whatever we say and no matter how much we try to keep that on, most people dress in a different way, their lifestyle in general has changed…

Чем больше я покупаю винтаж, тем меньше смысла имеют для меня слова “тренды”, “актуально”... Тем меньше мне хочется быть как все. А еще я понимаю, как бесценны для меня те вещи, которые были со мной в какие-то важные для меня моменты в прошлом. 

The more I buy vintage, the less sense words such as “trends”, “fashionable” have for me… The less I want to be like everyone else. And also, I realize how precious the things that were with me at some special moments in my past, are for me.

Январь обычно самый ленивый (в хорошем смысле слова) месяц в году... Когда после яркого и насыщенного декабря хочется высыпаться, смотреть хорошее кино, ходить на бьюти-процедуры, читать, гулять на свежем воздухе, долго не спеша завтракать. Ничего плохого не вижу в такой "лени", когда она идет на пользу! Особенно, когда ты знаешь, что год предстоит активный!

January is probably the laziest (in a good sense) month of the year... When after the active December you feel like sleeping enough, watching good movies, doing some beauty and wellness treatments, reading, walking in the fresh air, having your breakfast without any rush. There's nothing bad, I guess, in this kinda laziness when it's for your good! Especially when you know that the new year is going to be super active!

В конце каждого года (пока другие подводят свои итоги) я всегда думаю о том, как изменился мой стиль, что я чаще всего носила, покупала… что я хотела бы носить в следующем году. И в целом, много размышляю о том, что творилось за уходящий год в моем гардеробе, в моей голове! И это уже третий год, когда первая мысль о моде, связана со словом винтаж.

At the end of every year (while everyone is looking back on their year) I always think about how my style has changed, what I’ve been wearing most of all, what I’ve been buying… and what I’d love to wear in the next year. And in general, I think about what was happening in my closet and in my head! So, it’s been the third year when the first ever idea about fashion in my mind is connected to the word vintage.
